eng	Synthesis of Substituted 6-Fluorobenzothiazole Carbamates as Potent Alheimer´s Disease Drugs	The starting compound (R)-1-(6-fluorobenzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)ethanamine was prepared as the corresponding p-toluenesulfonate salt (PTS). A series of novel 1-[(1R)-1-(6-fluoro-1,3-benzothiazol-2-yl)ethyl]-3-substituted carbamates was synthesized by simple and technologically applicable condensation reaction of (1R)-1-(6-fluoro-1,3-benzothiazol-2-yl)ethanamine with substituted alkyl chloroformate under mild conditions. Their structures were confirmed by 1H, 13C and 19F NMR spectra, high resolution mass spectrometry elemental analyses and in one case also by singlecrystal X-ray diffraction techniques.
