eng Detailed analysis of OH group vibration: the tool of evaluation of acid sites in zeolites Infrared spectra in the region of vibration of OH groups can provide a lot of valuable information especially about heterogeneity - ie about the presence and also quantity of different types of acid centers. Using deconvolution, it is possible to decipher the contributions of individual OH vibrations to the overall envelope, and thus determine the statistical distribution of individual T-positions. These results can also be correlated with theoretical calculations. Based on these results, it is possible to determine which acidic centers are most important in terms of acidity and the desired reaction. OH group vibration; zeolites; FTIR; acid sites
